iLockey RFID Hotel Door Lock System
iLockey RFID hotel door lock System is a ready-to-use hotel key card door entry system, which is suitable for hotels that want to provide basic key card access solutions to their guests in a simple use format. By connecting to the hotel lock software and encoder, the hotel door lock information can be written into the card in the hotel lock software, and then the information is set to the hotel door lock through the card. After the initial setting of a series of level programs for the first time, the issued cards can open the door locks within the scope of their own authority.
There are no integration or third-party dependencies required, besides, if your hotel needs to ask for PMS management, Ilockey provides an access SDK together with dedicated onboarding services to facilitate seamless integration.
How to Use Hotel Key Card Door Entry Systems
After checking in at the hotel front desk, you will receive a guest card to enter the room and connect the power. In some luxury hotels, this guest card is also used for using elevators, access control, safes, gyms, swimming pools, SPA, parking, and so on. It is easy to use an RFID card to open the door, just put your RFID card in the front of the card reader and wait for some seconds, the door will be open.
In traditional RFID hotel door locks, hotels use a permanent authorization in their RFID card. When the guests checking out and return the card, the hotel will use the same card to open the door for the next guest. As this way has potential dangers, more and more brand hotels choose a more intelligent RFID hotel door lock system.
The typical way is to set a valid time in the RFID card, during the valid time, the guests can use the card to open the door normally. When the guests finishing their staying, the card is useless automatically. During this time, if the guests want to stay some days longer, the hotel can extend the valid time in their PSM system easily.
